How does TreeCodex verify trees are actually planted?
Every planter submits GPS-tagged photos from the exact planting location. The NGO reviews the coordinates, photos, and timestamps before approving. Each verified tree gets a unique ID and permanent public page you can visit anytime.
Where does my money go?
90% goes directly to the NGO and their field team — the people doing the actual planting. Planters are paid 20% above local market wages. Only 10% sustains the TreeCodex platform. No middlemen.
Can multiple people fund one tree?
Yes! Trees can be co-funded. Multiple donors contribute until a tree is 100% funded, then it gets assigned to a planter. Every contributor appears on the tree's public page.
Which countries are you planting in?
We're starting in the Philippines — specifically Palawan (Sabang mangrove forest), Aklan near Boracay (Bakhawan Eco-Park), and Mindoro (Silonay Conservation Area). More regions coming soon.
